Biography of Joost Klein
Joost Klein is a Dutch musician, rapper, singer, and former YouTuber, born on November 10, 1997. Renowned for his eclectic style blending hip hop with electronic influences like drum and bass, hard style, and gabber, he has released eight studio albums, two of which reached the Dutch Album Top 10.
Klein, also known as Joost, is set to represent the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with his song "Europapa," marking his debut as a Eurovision contestant. Born in Leeuwarden, Friesland, Klein began his artistic journey on YouTube in 2008 under the name EenhoornJoost. Despite facing personal tragedy at a young age with the loss of both parents, he persevered and transitioned to a career in music.
Over the years, Klein has evolved as an artist, showcasing his talents through various albums, mixtapes, and singles. Notable releases include "Scandinavian Boy", "Wachtmuziek" and "Friesenjung."
