Biography of BESA

Besa Kokëdhima, often referred to simply as Besa, is an esteemed Albanian singer known for her captivating performances. Born on May 29, 1986, in Fier, Albania, into a family with a prosperous background, Besa's musical journey began early on. At the age of 15, she ventured to the United Kingdom to pursue her academic endeavours.

In 2003, Besa marked her debut in the music industry with the release of "Më Beso"  a collaboration with the renowned producer Florian Mumajesi and the emerging Albanian group Produkt 28. This song earned her the prestigious "Mikorofoni I Artë" award. Her self-titled debut album, "Besa," followed in 2006, showcasing her talent and collaborative efforts with prominent figures in the Albanian music scene.

Throughout her career, Besa has participated in various music competitions, demonstrating her versatility and skill. Notable achievements include winning the 15th edition of Kënga Magjike in 2013 and clinching the title of Best Female Singer at Top Fest in 2010 with her single "Kalorësi i Natës" .

Besa's musical repertoire boasts several successful singles, including "Fishekzjarre" (2012), "Burning"  (2013), and "Zemrën Dot Nuk ta Lexoj"  (2014). Her albums, "Besa për Festat" and "Ti Je Festa Ime," received acclaim for their quality and production value, with the latter earning recognition as one of the standout projects of the year.

Beyond her musical endeavours, Besa has made a mark as a judge on the Albanian television show The Voice of Albania, garnering popularity and acclaim from audiences. Her influence extends internationally, as evidenced by her debut in the French music industry with the heartfelt ballad "En Equilibre"  in 2022.
