Sara Briški Cirman, known by her stage name Raiven, is a multifaceted Slovenian artist, renowned as a singer, songwriter, and harpist. Her journey into the limelight began with her notable appearances in Slovenia's national selection for Eurovision. Despite finishing as a runner-up in 2016 with "Črno bel"  and placing third in 2017 with "Zažarim" Raiven's talent continued to shine, leading her to compete once more in 2019 with "Kaos" securing another second-place finish.

Raiven's musical prowess traces back to her early years, commencing her studies at Glasbena Matica in Ljubljana at the age of four. Her dedication to the harp saw her garnering accolades in classical music, including winning top honours at esteemed competitions like the Antonio Salieri International Harp Competition. Graduating in solo singing in 2015, Raiven pursued further education at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, earning her master's degree in opera by 2021.

In addition to her academic achievements, Raiven's artistic endeavours have flourished with the release of her debut album "Magenta" in 2017, earning her the prestigious Zlata piščal award. Collaborating with renowned songwriters and producers, Raiven's EP album "REM" garnered widespread acclaim.

Raiven's performances have graced illustrious stages, including the Fusion Stage at the Exit Festival in Novi Sad and prestigious events alongside esteemed orchestras like the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra. Her original composition "Ti" showcased her talent with the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra at the Ljubljana Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballet.

In 2021, Raiven's artistry reached new heights as she captivated audiences at the Popevka 21 festival with her song "Volkovi" earning her the Grand Audience Award and the title Popevka 2021. Alongside her musical endeavours, Raiven completed her master's degree in opera at Ljubljana's Academy of Music, marking yet another milestone in her illustrious career.

The Slovenian entry for this year is a powerful pop ballad, characterized by deeply emotional lyrics. "Veronika" delves into the complexities of love and the uncertainties that follow a breakup, exploring the fears and emotions that accompany such transitions. With its spectacular orchestration and compelling construction, the song promises to leave a lasting impression.
