Alena Shirmanova-Kostebelova, known professionally as Aiko, is a Czech singer and songwriter set to represent the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with her song "Pedestal." Born in Moscow, Russia, she relocated to Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, where she was raised is now based in Brighton, UK.

Shirmanova-Kostebelova gained recognition after participating in season 4 of the reality talent show Česko Slovenská SuperStar in 2015. She later moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her musical career, releasing her debut self-titled album in 2018 and Expiration Date in 2020, featuring her debut single "Hunt” .
