Armenia is a small country in the South Caucasus region with a rich cultural heritage and a thriving music scene. One of the latest additions to Armenia's music scene is Brunette, a talented singer-songwriter who is set to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

Born Elen Yeremyan on 27 May 2001, Brunette discovered her love for music at an early age. She began singing when she was just four years old and started writing her own music when she was fifteen. Her passion for music led her to collaborate with the “Nvak Foundation” and release her debut single "Love the Way You Feel"  in September 2019.

In the following years, Brunette joined Project 12, a popular musical collective based in Yerevan, and became a member of the girl group “En aghjiknery (ThoseGirlz)”. With En aghjiknery, Brunette gained popularity with the release of their hit single "Menq"  in 2022.

As a solo artist, Brunette continued to make waves with the release of her singles "Gisher", „Smoke Break", and "Bac kapuyt achqerd" . The latter two went viral on social media, solidifying her status as one of Armenia's most promising young artists.

Armenia's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 was revealed in February of that year - none other than Brunette! A lot of people eagerly anticipated the release of her entry, "Future Lover", which finally dropped on March 15th, 2023 as one of the last entries. The selection process was a direct nomination by the Armenian broadcaster C1, and it's easy to see why Brunette was chosen

Although Rosa Linn's song "Snap" only placed 20th in last year's Eurovision final, it went on to become one of the most widely played ESC songs in recent memory. This catchy tune even gained unexpected popularity among listeners outside of the Eurovision fanbase, proving its broad appeal.
