Like in the past years the Irish final is part of the popular “The Late Late Show” on RTE One with Ryan Tubridy. This year comedian Patrick Kielty is the new presenter. Normally the ESC special edition for this night is 100% concentrated on Eurovision, with former ESC singers, the song presentations and the voting.

The results consists of three parts: televoting, national jury and international jury.

There are quite progressive songs in this year’s collection. Let’s see if the Irish are brave enough to try something new or if they stick to the old recipe. Unfortunately, Ireland is struggling with good results in recent years. The last time Ireland made it to the Grand Final was in 2018  with Ryan O’Shaughnessy – “Together”  made the 16th rank in Lisbon.
