As mid-March approaches each year, the deadline for song submissions is met. All 37 participating countries have unveiled their entries. It’s crucial for the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the host broadcaster, and the production team to have all songs finalized to plan the event schedule effectively. This includes coordinating delegation arrivals and ensuring all necessary props are in place. Soon, the running order for the semi-finals will be determined. Once the stage is set, dummy rehearsals will commence.
In recent days, all the remaining countries that had not yet unveiled their ESC entries have finally done so. These are:
Azerbaijan
FAHREE feat. Ilkin Dovlatov – “Özünlə Apar”
Armenia
Ladaniva – “Jako”
Georgia
Nutsa Buzaladze – “Firefighter”
Israel
Eden Golan – “Hurricane”
Portugal
Iolanda – “Grito”
Sweden
Marcus & Martinus – “Unforgettable”

As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
