Participant(s): Suntribe Song: Let's get loud Writer(s): Sven Lõhmus Composer(s): Sven Lõhmus
There are have been many great songs from Estonia in Eurovision. They are always modern and of high quality. We love to remember contributions like "Once In A Lifetime" sung by Ines (Stockholm 2000) or "Runaway" by Sahlene (Tallinn 2002). The other countries honoured that with many points - that's the reason for the success of Estonian Eurovision songs. Unfortunately the group Neiokõsõ could not reach last years final in Istanbul.
This year Estonia has to participate again in the Qualifier round, but the chances to get into the final are quite good. Estonia's song "Let's get loud" sung by the girlie-group Suntribe has the unique "Scandinavian sound". Estonia is very close to Scandinavia and the people feel more like being in a Scandinavian than an Eastern European country. The song is catchy and loud as the name already says. There is an interesting fact that there is a second girlie group from Estonia: Vanilla Ninja! They are living in Germany by now and they are going to represent Switzerland this year. The look and the music of both groups are quite similar. So it's going to be very exciting in Kiev!
