Our traditional star rating for 2022 has been revealed
It has become a tradition for the team of eurovisionlive to transform our individual points to stars in a rating from one to five. We are using stars to evaluate the chances for victory for each country. This voting is based on our estimations and long experiences. There is no personal opinion involved, just the objective point of view how many chances the entries have to win the ESC. The maximum of stars is five with very good winning chances and one star for entry with almost no chance to win.
The maximum of stars is five with very good winning chances and one star for the fewest chances. The voting system is based on the original one from the jury members at the ESC. From 40 participating countries, all songs have to be put in an order 1 – 40 points, the best country with the highest chances will receive 40 points, 39 points and so on until 1 point. The stars for each entry will be displayed on each country page.
# means that the entries have been discussed by the team with pros and cons and so the one or other entry received a better or worse star rating, despite of the points. Entry with # have normally would be in another star rating category.
Here are the voting details by each of our team members.
5 stars – best winning chances and a top favourite
4 stars – good chances to win
3 stars – moderate chances to win
