Sweden is going to send another strong entry to Eurovision. An untypical song from Sweden will be presented in Turin
In the Swedish national final “Melodifestivalen” Cornelia Jakobs could achieve the highest votes. The international juries have given the highest points to Cornelia Jakobs, while the Swedish public put her on #2. Anders Bagged was the favourite of the Swedes. Hence she is going to represent her country in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, Italy. The song is called “Hold Me Closer” and it is not one of the typical Swedish pop songs we had in previous years. The entry appears authentic and special, an emotional stage show supports her strong entry.
For Sweden it will be the 61st entry and Cornelia needs to pass the second semi-final.
