
Iceland is going to choose its Eurovision Song 2022. Who will follow Daði og Gagnamagnið?
The Icelandic music festival “Söngvakeppnin” will celebrate the Grand Final on Saturday night. After two semi-finals with five songs each, the two songs with the highest votes from 50% jury and 50% televoting, plus one wildcard given by the Icelandic broadcaster RÙV. In tonight’s final the Icelandic jury will be replaced by an international jury of 10 people. The two highest voted songs will reach the super final, where the televoters have the last say. It will be the 34th Icelandic entry.
The show will be hosted by Björg Magnúsdóttir, Jón Jónsson and Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir in the sold out RVK Studios Gufunesi, Reykjavik. As guest stars there will be last year’s representative Daði Freyr and the Ukrainian band Go_A.
