Another rock band will represent Finland in the ESC. They could convince the international jury and the Finnish public.
One of the most popular bands of this year’s national final has won the ticket to Turin. The Rasmus are going to perform the song “Jezebel” at the ESC. In advance the video clip has received the most clicks on YouTube, so it’s no wonder that they made the race in Turku. Both the international jury and the Finnish public gave their highest votes to The Rasmus at the end they could win with a respectable margin of points. Music from Finland is often associated with rock music and the band is also showing it’s rock soul in this entry. Last year Blind Channel could make a 5th place with “Dark Side”.

About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
