Watch the interview Cyan Kicks, one of this year's finalists in Finland
One of this year’s UMK finalists Cyan Kicks took the chance to talk about their preparations and expectations of being part of the Finnish national final. If they convince the Finnish public and the international jury they could have the chance to represent Finland in Turin at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The band Cyan Kicks consists of Susanna Alexandra (vocals, guitar), Niila Perkkiö (guitar) and Leevi Erkkilä (bass) and Pietari Reijonen (drums) and has been founded in 2016 and has already released two albums.Their style of music is a bold combination of different elements with a unique and distinctive sound. The song is about overcoming fears and about the courage to be who you are and to do things you want to do.
The competition in this year’s UMK is very high, but Cyan Kicks entry “Hurricane” is already among the most viewed UMK songs on YouTube this year.

About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
