Who will sing for Malta in Turin this year? Tonight Malta is going to choose its entry
After the semi-final last night the 16 top acts for tonight’s final have been determined. The Maltese will have a regular national final again, so Malta is returning to its established show format, which has been used for years. In the past two years the ambition to win was very high in Malta and Destiny would have been the perfect singer to win the ESC, but she could not fulfil this dream. Her song “Je Me Casse” came 7th in last year’s final in Rotterdam.
Tonight 16 hopefuls can dream of being the representative of Malta in Turin this May. For Malta it will be the 33rd entry in the ESC. There will be 50% jury and 50% televoting.
These are the artists in the running order:
- Enya Magri – "Shame"
- Sarah Bonnici – "Heaven"
- Matt BLXCK – "Come Around"
- Denise Mercieca – "Boy"
- Norbert Bondin – "How Special You Are"
- Raquel Galdes Briffa – "Over You"
- Mark Anthony Bartolo – "Serenity"
- Baklava ft. Nicole – "Electric Indigo"
- Aidan Cassar – "Ritmu"
- Janice Mangion – "Army"
- Nicole Hammett – "A Lover’s Heart"
- Nicole Azzopardi – "Into The Fire"
- Richard Micallef – "Hey Little"
- Giada – "REVELACIÓN"

The Maltese final can be watched at 21.00 CET

About me:
As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
