The participating countries have been allocated to their semi-finals in Turin
Today has been the first official occasion from the host broadcaster RAI and the EBU to determine which country is going to participate in which part of semi-final 1 or 2. This event has been hosted by the TV presenters Carolina di Domenico and Gabriele Corsi. Almost 14.000 people have been watching this show live on YouTube. The Eurovision Executive supervisor Martin Österdahl has not been among the official representatives, surprisingly.
There has been the host insignia with the mayors Ahmed Aboutaleb from Rotterdam and Stefano lo Russo from Turin. Short introduction films have given the first impression of what to expect from the city of Turin in May 2022 and the inspiration for this year’s motto “The Sound of Beauty”.
