Due to the pandemic of the Corona virus the ESC 2020 has been cancelled. The venue which has been selected for the event – the Ahoy Arena – will fulfil another function than the initially planned music competition.

Due to the pandemic of the Corona virus the ESC 2020 has been cancelled. The venue which has been selected for the event – the Ahoy Arena – will fulfil another function than the initially planned music competition. 

The capacities of the hospitals in Rotterdam are getting lower, therefore the Ahoy arena will become an alternative for patients who suffer from Corvid-19 or other diseases. This will relieve the tense situation these days and in the upcoming weeks. 

This is a very good idea to use the arena for a really important support.
