It will be the 70th anniversary of the Italian music festival “San Remo” from February 4 to 8 this year. Altogether there will be five live shows and 24 participants. The entire week will be filled with music from San Remo in Italy. The hosts will be Tiziano Ferro and Fiorello.

It will be the 70th anniversary of the Italian music festival “San Remo” from February 4 to 8 this year. Altogether there will be five live shows and 24 participants. The entire week will be filled with music from San Remo in Italy. The hosts will be Tiziano Ferro and Fiorello. It’s possible to watch the shows via live stream.

In the first show there will be 12 participants performing, in the second night the other half. The third show the singer will be presenting cover songs and the fourth and fifth night the juries, press and televoters are able to vote for the best song. The winning song will be have the right to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam this year. There will be also participants from the newcomer show from December 2019 “Nuove Proposte”.

Among the 24 artists there will be Raphael Gualazzi,  who made a brilliant 2nd place in Düsseldorf 2011. Furthermore there will be former ESC participants as guest stars: Emma Marone “La Mia Città “ 2014, 21st rank and Al Bano & Romina Power 1975 “We'll Live It All Again” , 7th rank and 1985 “Magic oh Magic”, 7th rank Eurovision 1985 Italy Al Bano & Romina Power Magic, oh magic.
