German singer Sandro Nicolas has been chosen by the Cypriot broadcaster PIK to represent Cyprus in Rotterdam 2020. Cyprus has been quite successful recently, always in the Grand Final since 2015 and even very close to victory with Eleni Foueira “Fuego”.

German singer Sandro Nicolas has been chosen by the Cypriot broadcaster PIK to represent Cyprus in Rotterdam 2020. Cyprus has been quite successful recently, always in the Grand Final since 2015 and even very close to victory with Eleni Foueira “Fuego”.

It’s no secret that Cyprus often selects singers from other country, mostly Greece. So year will be the first time that a German singer will represent the Cypriot flags in an ESC.

Sandro was born in Germany, but has a Greek mother and an American father. He already took part in shows like “Supertalent”, “Voice of Germany” and “New Wave Song Festival” in Sotchi.
