During a press conference of the Israel broadcaster KAN, interesting news have come out. It seems that all technical equipment is on time, so everything should be ready as planned.
Last year’s winner Netta is going to open the Semi Final 1 with a special version of her winning entry “Toy” and will also present her new song. Also Dana International (winner of 1998 with “Diva”) will play a role in that show as well as in the Grand Final.

For the Semi Final 2 there will be the finalist of the national final Rising Star: Shalva performing her song “Million Dreams”.
Furthermore we can expect a great entry of former participants singing each other’s songs: Conchita, Måns Zelmerlöw, Eleni Foueira and Verka Seduchka. At the end Gali Atari, the Israeli winner of 1979 will perform “Hallelujah” with the other singers.
In the Grand Final we are going to see the Israeli singer and songwriter Idan Raichel. Together with 24 singers and musicians he will be surrounded by the 26 finalists singing his song “Bo’ee – Come To Me”.
Until now there is no final confirmation if Madonna – the Queen of pop will appear or not, as the contract has not been signed, yet. If she comes, a song of her new album “Madame X” will be presented.
During the Eurovision week the red carpet turns into an orange carpet at Habima Square in Tel Aviv, where all the participants doing the catwalk for the press.
The Euroclub will be housed in Tel Aviv at Hangar 11, located at the Port of Tel Aviv, in one of the most picturesque places. 7 day tickets for not accredited guest are available to purchase. This year’s Eurovision Village will be located in the Charles Clore Park at the coastline in Tel Aviv. The Eurovision Village will be open to the public every day starting 12 until 18 May.
