As time goes by we have reached the official submission deadline – 10th March 2019. Now all participating countries have to confirm their ESC entry for Tel Aviv. This to a head of delegation meeting in Tel Aviv these days. As previously reported Ukraine has withdrawn its participation, hence we only have 41 countries in this year’s contest. The Ukraine has been allocated to the Semi Final 1, this means that there will only be 17 countries left, which increases the chances to qualify for the remaining countries, as ten countries will qualify for the Grand Final on May 18th.

Soon all official video clips will be ready and you can judge yourself, who belong to the favourites? Actually there are some favourites, but not a clear one, which makes it very exciting as well. Cyprus, Iceland, Sweden, The Netherlands, Russia and Italy are in the discussion. Like every year it all depends on the live performance, the live singing quality, the sound and light and the show.
