Tonight we will have twelve songs in the final, two more than usual. There is a solid mix of different music styles. Anna Bergendahl and Arvingarna both represented Sweden in former years. Back in 2010 in Oslo, Anna Bergendahl sang “This Is My Life” and did not pass the qualifying round. It was the first time that Sweden was not in the Final. In the year 1993 the four guys of Arvingarna made a great 7th place with “Eloise” in Millstreet, Ireland. Several other singers of this year’s Melodifestivalen final are well known in Sweden like Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Lisa Ajax, Nano and Wiktoria. John Lundvik seems to be the big favourite of the year.
