The Danish national final “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix” took place in Herning, the former bidding city for the 2014 ESC. Out of ten entries Leonora could first qualify for the super final and then won the show with the lovely song “Love Is Forever”. The song will also be sung in French and has a unique stage performance showing Leonore sitting on an oversized chair. A charming presentation though.

My first Eurovision Song Contest I watched behind the walls of the former GDR in 1987. This was even possible at that time! Since then I am following the ESC every year on TV.
