The winning entry “Sister” has cause a lot a heavy reactions in the ESC community. Firstly, the girl duo has been nominated at a later stage, contrary to all the other six participants who had to go through the song writing camp. This “wild card” has now been a topic since the girls won with the dramatic ballad in Berlin. A lot of people thought it might be unfair to nominate them after all the months of song finding.

Now the Swiss broadcaster came out with the message that the German song “Sister” has originally been in the Swiss song writing camp, but it has been denied by the committee. Later this song has been submitted to the German selection. This might be funny to see which country shapes up better Switzerland or Germany, what would have happened if Switzerland has send the song to Tel Aviv?
