The Spanish broadcaster RTVES has taken the show format Operacion Triunfo to determine the Eurovision entry for Tel Aviv. Out of ten song the Spanish televoters voted with 34% for Miki Núñez with the song “La Venda”. This song is a joyful merengue styled song, which will be taking part in the Grand Final of the 64th Eurovision Song Contest. “La Venda” will be the 59th Spanish Eurovision entry.

Guest star of the night was last year’s runner up Eleni Foureira with her ESC song “Fuego”. Also Pastora Soler “Quedate conmigo” (10th place, Baku 2012), was part of the show this time as a juror.
