Another scandal has reached the unharmed world of Eurovision. The Chinese private channel Mango TV has been broadcasting the ESC since 2015. This time they have censored some parts of the show which does not align with the guidelines of the EBU.

Another scandal has reached the unharmed world of Eurovision. The Chinese private channel Mango TV has been broadcasting the ESC since 2015. This time they have censored some parts of the show which does not align with the guidelines of the EBU. The Albanian singers is showing his tattoos, but tattoos seem not to be allowed in public, so Mango TV has defaced some parts. Furthermore the Irish entry has been defaced as well due to the fact that a gay couple can be seen dancing on stage. And in the Swiss entry there has been seen a rainbow flag, the symbol of LGBT, this has been blackened as well.

All these violations enforced the EBU to act, hence it is not allowed to broadcast the show for the Chinese Mango TV.
