The national final A Dál was packed with a great variety of music. Surprisingly a punk rock song has rocked the music festival. The group AWS is going to fly to Lisbon with the song “Viszlát nyár” (goodbye summer). It will be interesting how this rock song shapes up at the Eurovision Song Contest.

From the experience we know that hard rock and punk rock has not much chances to win, beside of “Hard Rock Hallelujah” (Finland 2006).
The show was co-hosted by Freddie, who represented Hungary in Stockholm 2016 with “Pioneer” (19th place).
