The famous Eurovision Village in Lisbon will be the “Terreiro do Paço” also known as “Praça do Comercio” in the heart of Lisbon close to the seaside. This carnival will offer various highlight all connected with the Eurovision Song Contest. There is a stage with live performances of the participants and other singers, video screens for the live transmission of the Semi Finals and the Grand Final. Furthermore there will be food stalls with local delicatessen and entertainment.

My first Eurovision Song Contest I watched behind the walls of the former GDR in 1987. This was even possible at that time! Since then I am following the ESC every year on TV.
