In this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest JESC, Armenia could achieve a second victory within 15 years of participation. The lucky winner is Maléna with the song “Qami Qami”. The young singer received the highest votes from the public, while the international juries preferred the entries from France and Poland.
It has been the first time in JESC history that France was hosting this event and is has also been the 19th time that the junior version of the prestigious Eurovision Song Contest has been aired. The French television has produced a colourful and impressing Disney-like show with a big Eiffel Tower as this year’s logo. There is always a high level of enthusiasm and motivation visible in this unique show with a lot of talented kids, who might start a great singing career.

About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
