This is annoncement of the 2022 host city:
For the third time Italy will be hosting the Eurovision Song Contest, after Naples 1965, Rome 1991 it's time for Turin 2022. The city is used to host big events like the Olympic Winter Games 2006. The beautiful city has many attractions cultural and historical. The lovely landscape of the Piedmont is also worth to mention here, a wonderful region to explore the rural life, wineries and culinary experiences.

Turin is the perfect Host City for the 66th Eurovision Song Contest. As we saw during the 2006 Winter Olympics, PalaOlimpico exceeds all the requirements needed to stage a global event of this scale and we have been very impressed with the enthusiasm and commitment from the City of Turin who will welcome thousands of fans next May.This will be the first Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Italy in 30 years and, together with our Host broadcaster Rai, we are determined to make it a special one.

About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
