Traditionally we are using stars to evaluate the chances of winning for each entry. This voting is based on our estimations and long experiences. There is no personal opinion involved, just the objective point of view how many chances the entries have to win the ESC. The maximum of stars is five with very good winning chances and one star for entry with almost no chance to win.
The maximum of stars is five with very good winning chances and one star for the fewest chances. The voting system is based on the original one from the jury members at the ESC. From 39 participating countries, all songs have to be put in an order 1 – 39 points, the best country with the highest chances will receive 39 points and so on. The stars for each entry will be visible on each country page.
# means that the entries have been discussed by the team with pros and cons and so the one or other entry received a better or worse star rating, despite of the points. Entry with # have normally would be in another star rating category.

About me:
As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
