A big relief for the organizers of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest brought the long awaited news from the Dutch government. It will be allowed that a live audience up to 3.500 people can be accommodated in the Ahoy Arena in all nine live shows.
The tickets for this year’s shows can only be purchased provided that the people have bought a ticket last year. Firstly it was announced that only Dutch people are allowed in the Ahoy Arena, but now it seems that Rotterdam is welcoming international visitors. But everything is still not 100% fix, which means that in a case of a worsening of the incidence value, no audience will be allowed. It all depends on decrease of the curve.

About me:
Due to the fact that my parents are musicians, I have a gained a great enthusiasm for music. Since 1979 my interest in the Eurovision Song Contest has grown enormously. My first ESC I joined was in Dublin 1995. Six years later I founded the website eurovisionlive.com in the year 2001. The most fascinating part for me is the original idea of the Eurovision Song Contest – the peaceful contest of the European countries. I am very happy that I have the chance to contribute my little part for the greatest music show in the world.
