Lovely Senhit, who is representing San Marino in Rotterdam has recorded an impressive number of cover Eurovision songs with very lavish video clips. This project is called “Freaky Trip To Rotterdam” and it shows various songs in new versions. Everything has been made with a lot of accuracy, a flash of colours, fancy costumes and overwhelming impressions. Furthermore there a many computer animations and graphic tricks, which not easy to watch especially for people with epilepsy. The costumes and make up’s are a piece of art. All the videos are directed by Luca Tommassini, who has been also dancing with Madonna, Diana Ross, Kylie Minogue, Whitney Houston, etc. a very talented creator. Some of the cover songs are also a reliance to popular singers like Freddie Mercury in “Rise Like A Phoenix”, David Bowie in “Congratulations” and Grace Jones in “Cheesecake”with their attitudes.
This kind of preparation has never been seen before of any other artist. It really seems that Senhit and her team wanted to catch the utmost attention beforehand. Due to that promotion San Marino has been ranked in the top positions in the bets and fan club rankings hence San Marino has even received the #1 starting position in the second semi-final as the organizers believe that this could be successful. It is to be expected that Senhit’s stage performance will be more exciting than in 2011:
This is her performance 2011 in Düsseldorf “Stand By”, 16th place in the semi-final:

About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
