In the night of the Grand Final in the Estonian Eesti Laul, the representative from last year has be re-selected. Uku Suviste could not go to Rotterdam last year, as the ESC has been cancelled. Like in other countries the performers from last year received another chance this year. But in Estonia Uku needed to qualify for the final first. At the end in the super final among three participants Uku could win the Eesti Laul with 46% of the public votes.
Sometimes it’s unexplainable why the Estonians chose Eurovision entries to please the generality, while they have the coolest song in the Eesti Laul, while the mediocre is being pushed through.
This is the Estonian entry 2021:
Public relations, Editor, Journalist
About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
