This year Slovenia will be represented by Ana Soklič with the song “Amen”. Ana Soklič has already been chosen last year, but due to the cancelled ESC, she could not go. The Slovenian broadcaster RTVSLO has made an internal choice, which song Ana should sing in Rotterdam. The national final EMA has been replaces by a kind of gala show with many lovely memories of former Slovenian participants since 1961, when Slovenia was still part of Yugoslavia.
The song “Amen” is a great ballad with a recorded orchestra, which is a really strong contender in this year’s music contest. The funny thing is that the Austrian entry by Vincent Bueno will also be called “Amen”, which has not been released yet.

About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
