Blas Cantó was directly nominated to represent Spain in 2021, after the 2020 has been cancelled. There were two songs to choose from in a Saturday night live show. Blas had more songs in store, but he added that he would feel the best with these two songs. With the support of former Spanish singers like Edurne and Pastora Soler the Spanish public agreed to send “Voy a quedarme”, which means “I am going to stay”. With this powerful ballad, Blas Cantó is going to represent his country in Rotterdam.
