In Finland there will be another national final called “UMK”. Last year’s singer Aksel, who could not go to Rotterdam due to the Corona pandemic, will have another chance to participate in this year’s final. There will be seven contestants and the show will broadcasted live from the Mediapolis Television Studio in Tampere. The host no less than the popular singer Antti Tuisku. He will also open the show together with Erika Vikman, who made the second place last year.

Interesting to see is that the Estonian singer Laura, who participated twice for Estonia (“Let’s Get Loud” with the group Suntribe, 20th place in the Semi Final, Kiev 2005 and with “Verona” together with Koit Tomme, 14th place in the Semi Final, Kiev 2017), is a possible singer for Finland. Koit Tomme is also in the Estonian national final, it would be a funny coincidence to see both in Rotterdam.
