This year France will have a national final again. Last year’s singer Tom Leeb, could unfortunately not represent France due to the cancellation of the ESC. Tom Leeb did not want to return 2021 like other singers. A national final in France happened in the years before and should increase the interest and awareness of the French audience.

The show “Eurovision France, C’est vous qui décidez” (France you decide) will be hosted by Stéphane Bern and Laurence Boccolini and will be broadcasted live on France 2, TV5MONDE (international) and https://www.france.tv/ at 21.05 CET.

Twelve acts have been selected for tonight’s show. In the first round seven songs will be chosen by televoting. After that the jury will pick the eights song for the final. Then televoting and jury will have 50/50 weighting and determine the song for France in Rotterdam.

The jury consists of ten people, some are very well known in the Eurovision world: Amir (jury president), Marie Myriam, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Natasha St. Pier and Duncan Laurence.

These are the 12 candidates with their songs, one of them will be the French entry 2021:

• 21 Juin Le Duo - "Peux-Tu Me Dire?" 
• Terence James - "Je T'Emmènerai Danser" 
• Pony X - "Amour Fou"
