So far, 35 out of this year’s 37 songs for Basel have been revealed, only France and Georgia are yet to come. The submission deadline is March 15, by which time all entries must be confirmed for the EBU to ensure they comply with the regulations.
Meanwhile, Malta’s entry, originally titled “Kant”, has been renamed “Serving”, the former title could have been misunderstood easily. Additionally, Italy’s Sanremo winner, Olly, has opted out of the ESC, giving runner-up Lucio Corsi the opportunity to present his song to an international audience.

As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
