The excitement is growing within minutes

   Saturday, 26 May 2012 00:00

In a few moments the Eurovision anthem will conquer Europe. The 57th edition of the ESC will take place. The city of Baku is in absolute buzz, thousands of people on the street and in particular on the newly renovated boulevard, where the Euro Village is located as well.

There are banners and logos all over the city and happy children want to get photos with the Eurovision people. Nobody really expected that the Eurovision heat will capture Baku. The city is illuminated in all imaginable colours and the streets are filled with hundred of official Eurovision taxi making a big honking.

The security guards getting crazy with their controls and you can feel the buzz in the press centre. Hundreds of nervous journalists are flying around and making their last interviews or just have dressed in funny costumes and waving their country’s flags, older ESC celebrities have arrived here like Lena from Germany, Alexander Rybak from Norway, Lys Assia and many more. And everywhere the same questions: will Sweden make it? Who will win the contest?
