After almost one month the EBU has revealed the last secrets of the voting procedure. As it’s commonly known, there is a split of 50% televoting and 50% jury voting in each Semi Final and in the Final. The big question is, how would the final result have changed, if there would only be jury voting or televoting as it used to be in the past?
The new results show that for the Final, Germany would have been the winner in each case.

When it comes to the voting procedure at the Eurovision Song Contest there is always great happiness and sadness at the same time. It can happen to any of the participants, highly favourized entries fall down and underestimated songs do surprise with high votes. The success of Lena is quite remarkable. She has won with the second biggest gap in Eurovision history, just after Alexander Rybak’s record. For Germany the victory means a lot. All over Germany there have been Eurovision parties, public viewing and the show had a market share of almost 50%. The Eurovision Song Contest has never been that big in Germany! After a terrific show hosted by three lovely hosts in Norway’s capital, little Lena from Hanover, Germany could bring back the country’s pride. In the last years Germany has desperately tried to win the contest with the most various attempts: Swing, Country, and Strip.
