Waldo's People When people think about music from Finland often Hard Rock and metal comes into their mind. Indeed there is a big market for this kind of music in Finland. In the recent years Hard Rock was also send to Eurovision – with success. Look at Lordi who have won the Eurovision Song Contest and brought the crown to Finland for the first time ever. But generally for Hard Rock music the Eurovision Song contest is not the perfect place. Even if the variety of music styles is quite open for everything. People who watch Eurovision would like to hear positive, heart warming, spectacular and beautiful music nothing depressing or aggressive. Finnish entries have been very different from year to year and sometimes even sad, but there is a lot of originality and enthusiasm, especially after hosting the contest in 2007.

So there will be a very uplifting and happy song from Finland this year – no Hard Rock at all. Waldo’s People are well known in Finland and the arrangement of the song “Lose Control” reminds a bit of the music style the Danish band Aqua.
In the cool video clip you will see a man lying on the street and he stays there for the entire three minutes. The main problem is, how to present this song on stage. This song could be a surprise in Moscow.
