Serbia 2007

Serbia

Participant(s): Marija ŠERIFOVIC
Song: Molitva
Writer(s): Saša MILOŠEVIC MARE
Composer(s): Vladimir GRAIC

Marija ŠERIFOVIC The Eurovision family is growing from year to year. And if it wasn’t enough that the Czech Republic and Georgia has joined the party this year, the former Serbia & Montenegro has been politically separated. That means for Eurovision, that there will be each a song from Serbia and from Montenegro in Helsinki!
The former Serbia & Montenegro made a brilliant debut in 2004 with Zeljko’s “Lane Moje” and came second! Due to some internal troubles there was no participation last year.

This year there are to Marija’s! One from Serbia and one from Bosnia & Herzegovina! Both of them are going to sing ballads. The Serbian entry “Molitva” is starting very quietly and is getting stronger step by step. Marija has a great voice and there is a goose-bumps guarantee with that song. From the experience of the last three years since the double show concept has been brought into Eurovision, it can be an advantage to start in the semifinal and provided qualification, singing twice at the end. That is bringing the song into people’s memory in the best way. A very strong song. Good Luck Serbia.
