With a very good hand Bosnia & Herzegovina has confirmed its engagement in the Eurovision Song Contest. Recently the quality of the songs has improved a lot and the results were remarkable. Last year Hari Mata Hari came third with “Leijla” and therefore Bosnia & Herzegovina has been qualified automatically for the final.

On the first starting position Marija Sestic is going to open this year’s final. The first starting position is always a special task for the singer. If there is a good and impressing song it can be the perfect spot for a winner. The Herrey’s won the contest 1984 for Sweden on the first starting position.
“Rijeka bez Imena” is ballad in the typical Balkan-style, but without pan-flutes. This song can make a great impact in Helsinki. Most of this year’s songs are fast and colourful, danceable and sometimes even rocky, but this song is different, slight and simple. It will certainly stand out of the others and will be a perfect opener this year.
