Composer(s): Peter Yiannakis

Annette Artani Last year something really important has come out: too many countries have tried to give too much fuss on stage with strange folkloristic sounds. Everybody wanted to beat the other with extraordinary stage presentations. But the result was different than expected: the spectators got bored and got tired from that quickly. After ten folkloristic songs with a circus on stage it's really a hard task to remember the specific songs. The same fate was sharing Constantinos. But since Lisa Andreas ballad "Stronger every minute" in Istanbul, Cyprus has discovered a new dimension of songs.

This year there will be another great ballad sung by Annette. Indeed she has a gorgeous voice and lots of physical attraction which might make people start to grab the phone. Annette is a daughter of Greek immigrants and grew up in New York. She has already been singing in the background choir of Britney Spears and that's why she has great stage experiences already. "Why Angels Cry" is a world class song and is a perfect representation of Cyprus in Athens.
