Flag

Participant(s): Glennis Grace
Song: My impossible dream
Writer(s): Bruce Smith
Composer(s): Robert D. Fisher

Glennis GraceThe Netherlands have attended the Eurovision Song Contest almost every year. It's always nice to hear "Les Pays Bas - douze points"? Unfortunately The Netherlands did not always do that well, they even had to pause for some Contests, but still they gave us unforgettable songs that were lots of fun at every party like "Amsterdam" sung by Maggie McNeal (Den Haag 1980), "Een beetje" ("A Little Bit") by Teddy Scholten (Cannes 1959) or "Vrede" ("Peace") by Ruth Jacott (Millstreet 1993).

Last year the duo Reunion could reach the final in Istanbul, but only came 20th. That means that the Netherlands have to get over the preliminary round in Kiev. But this year the predictions are relatively high. Because Glennis Grace is going to represent the Netherlands with "Impossible Dream". She iis already among the top favorites. She has an extraordinary strong voice like Dina Carrol and the look of Whitney Houston. The song is brilliantly arrangened and she is going to crow on stage. It on time that the Netherlands deserve to win again.
