The national Portuguese final, which is called “Festival da Canção 2020“ was held in Elvas for the first time. Eight finalist battled for the ticket to Rotterdam. These finalists have been selected in two previously held semi finals.

The national Portuguese final, which is called “Festival da Canção 2020“ was held in Elvas for the first time. Eight finalist battled for the ticket to Rotterdam. These finalists have been selected in two previously held semi finals.

Interesting to see that the jury’s favourite was Filipe Sambado with “Gerbera Amarela do Sul”  and the Portuguese public had Bárbara Tinoco with “Passe-Partout” . And due to this mismatch the lucky third Elisa could win the Portuguese final “Medo de Sentir”.
