This decision has been made by the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen agreed with the organizers and the Danish broadcaster DR due to the spreading of the corona virus.

In many countries concerts are being cancelled. The risk for the organizers is too high to get blamed afterwards, how could they pull through the show in spite of the worldwide epidemic. These days it seems to be the safest way to proceed.
For all those, who have bought tickets, they will be refunded by 100%.

Even the Swedish Melodifestivalen is under discussion, can the show be held under these circumstances? The big question is, will the Eurovision Song Contest take place in Rotterdam?
