There has been a quite high standard in the Polish national final, which was broadcasted from the headquarter studios of TVP in Warsaw. Out of ten contestants the most striking entry was “Flashlight” sung by Kasia Mós. All of the songs were quite modern and radiofriendly. Such an up-to-date mix of music have seldomly been seen in the Polish final for Eurovision. All songs have been arranged in a contemporary way and could have been proud representatives in Kiev.
The most unusual song of the evening has won clearly, it was “Flashlight” – a mysterious power ballad sung by a charismatic singer has even more convinced the jury than the televoters. But it was enough to win the Polish final. There has been quite a difference from the video clip to the live version in the studio.

About me: As one of the founders of eurovisionlive.com I am responsible for the interviews with the singers and the editorial content. My passion for the Eurovision Song Contest exists since my early childhood. The exotic music, different cultures and languages have given a lot of inspiration to me. Since my very first ESC in Dublin 1994 I particularly appreciate the get together and friendship of all the nationalities and Riverdance was a thrill!
