It’s a world premiere for the ESC that the world super star Justin Timberlake is going to appear in the interval act in the Grand Final on Saturday, 14th. This is of course another highlight in this year’s ESC to include this act in the contest.
The song Justin is going to perform is “Can’t Stop The Feeling”, features the cast of DreamWorks Animation's “Trolls”. The dance song is #1 in the billboard charts already and it’s co-written by the Swedish composers Max Martina and Shellback. The Executive Producer for the ESC Martin Österdahl has emphasized "We are proud to welcome one of the world’s greatest artists! It is an honour and an inspiration to all of us".
The 35 years old ex-member of the popular boy band NSYNC has already had huge success as a solo artist, his songs “Cry Me A River” , “SexyBack” and “Mirrors” have reached top positions in the charts worldwide.
Having a world super star like the American singer Justin Timberlake in the Eurovision interval act can bring even more TV spectators for the host broadcaster. Even if there is no real connection with the singer and the ESC it can be seen very positive that the Eurovision is being treated seriously.

About me: Due to the fact that my parents are musicians, I have a gained a great enthusiasm for music. Since 1979 my interest in the Eurovision Song Contest has grown enormously. My first ESC I joined was in Dublin 1995. Six years later I founded the website eurovisionlive.com in the year 2001. The most fascinating part for me is the original idea of the Eurovision Song Contest – the peaceful contest of the European countries. I am very happy that I have the chance to contribute my little part for the greatest music show in the world.
