This was a real surprise in Poland! Among 10 entries, the big favourite Edyta Gorniak has already been seen as a possible ESC winner 2016. She has made a wonderful 2nd place in Dublin 1994 with “To Nie Ja!”. The other nine candidates have just been gadgetry and for the most of the watcher it was clear that Edyta is going to represent the Polish colours in Stockholm.
Maybe the televoters thought that Edyta Gorniak will even get enough votes, so they voted for other participants. The big shock came with the voting. Edyta only came 3rd and one of the biggest Polish singers Margaret with “Cool Me Down”came 2nd. And the surprise winner with the best male voices was Michal Szpak with “Colour Of Your Life”.
The Polish broadcaster has changed its mind, initially they have planned an internal choice, but at the end they wanted to have big national final. The outcome is probably a surprise for everybody, as Edyta Gorniak has been declared as ESC winner.
